- When an emergency occurs who do you call?
- How does the patient get the fastest and best care possible?
- How does he or she communicate with Hebrew-speaking EMTs, physicians or nurses at a time when clear communication can be a matter of life and death?
- Who is at the patient's side providing information and comfort?
Above all, how do you eliminate any worries
about prepayment and exorbitant fees for ambulances, physicians, medications and hospital stays?
But that's not all. Each MediGuard® policy includes the services of an English-speaking personal representative who literally holds the patient's hand every step of the way.
MediGuard's personal accompanying representatives are provided by
IsraCare,
- remains at the patient's side until they are assigned a room or released;
- serves as a constant liaison between the physicians, emergency staff and you, providing constant updates in real time;
- makes a daily coordination visit to the hospital;
- organizes patient transfers to other hospitals when necessary;
- remains at the patient's side for 48 hours if he or she is unconscious or requires emergency surgery, or until family arrives from overseas (whichever comes first.)
